User rating

Most power banks with extreme capacity are quite large and heavy. The Swissten Black Core weighs only around 0.5 kg, plus it is quite compact and takes up almost no space in a backpack. And this, in addition to the output power, convinced me that it was the right technology for a holiday under a tent, which I wanted to work on occasionally in the evenings. Plus, thanks to the LCD display, I knew how up to date the power bank was and could recharge it when needed during occasional trips to civilization. My laptop just purred contentedly thanks to the juice from the Black Core, and even on vacation I managed to meet all the deadlines my boss had agreed to.

The power bank is switched on by pressing the button on the side.The display shows the charge status of the power bank and information about the connected inputs or outputs.

The power bank has three different inputs for the most convenient charging. Charging can be done with either the included USB-C cable, the Lightning cable you normally use to charge your iPhone, or the Micro USB cable. When connected to the charger, IN will light up on the display.

Depending on the charger and cable used, the power bank can charge for dozens of hours.

The power bank has three outputs for charging your devices. It has two USB (QC 3.0) ports and one USB-C (PD) port.

To charge your device, simply connect the cable to the powerbank and press the power button to turn it on.
